One of the best Japanese restaurants in Houston. The food was unique and delicious. The reservation is not possible. Remember that you need to wait at least 30 minutes to get a table in a rush hour.

By far the highest quality, lowest price I have encountered for an excellent lunch. I almost didn't want to share the review as this place is just a gem. No frills, fast service, likely a wait. Totally worth it!
Be sure to check out the free parking lot just next door.

Great restaurant! Super friendly staff and probably one of the best sushi meals I have had. Will be back on a regular.

We had the assorted sashimi plate which comes with 32 (?) pieces, da bomb roll, and potato and corn and crab croquettes, also some temakis. It’s definitely worth the wait time, and they are mostly busy. We went on a Monday evening and had to wait ~15 mins but it went by faster than that. All good, fish is fresh for the most part and prices are so fair. Will be back again 🙂

Arguably could be one of the best sushi places in Houston, you really can’t beat Oishii’s quality and price. My favorite rolls are the Houston Maki and the Crazy Sunny Maki! Be sure to call and get a reservation before you stop in.

Great food for an affordable price. Had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table as the restaurant gets very busy. Service could have been better. Definitely recommend this place for Sushi. People who look for cooked or fried options in sushi definitely go for the “Sumo Maki”. It was the best item we tried.

I used to eat here years ago and was pleasantly surprised it's still amazing. The prices are such a great deal too!

Five stars for bang for the buck! The sushi and sashimi were well priced. The rolls were definitely Americanized but they always hit the spot. Pro tip: order the food for pick up to avoid lunch / dinner traffic. Also always look at the specials on the black board.

We love to come here during happy hour. Sushi is fresh and at a good price. We enjoyed the iced green tea, eel roll, spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll. We've also tried one of their sashimi/roll specials that was also very good. Definitely one of my favorite sushi places in Houston. Parking is my only issue with this place as it is very limited and you have to be careful while backing out of the parking lot.

Absolutely fantastic! Stopped by and got the #10 (see pic for menu) which included 9 assorted pieces of sushi and a cup of soup for $10.95. Sushi was delicious, service was great think I had my drink refilled like four times, and prices in 2023 are unbeatable. My favorite place for Sushi in Houston so far and would highly recommend trying.

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Food is so excellent, the prices are even better. The staff are incredibly friendly and the place is always busy. I cannot say enough good things about oishii. They have maintained many staff members for the 10+ years I’ve been going and they make my day everytime I go. I cannot recommend oishii enough.
